Swiss Believers

Three Kings' Day Party

at Bruno and Becky Keller's
Waxhaw, North Carolina
January 8, 2006

Our host, Bruno Keller, offers grace.

Traditional Swiss Three Kings' Day cakes.

Tabitha (far right) has come from Bern to spend a few months in Waxhaw.
The Swiss Believers in the Carolinas met again this year for Three Kings' Day. We had a buffet dinner followed by a time of story telling, and then lighting candles on an evergreen tree.

After dinner we sat around in the Kellers' living room and shared stories of Christmas traditions in Switzerland.

One of those traditions is lighting real candles on the tree. To give the children an experience of what it is like, they lit candles and put them on the pine tree in front of the Kellers' house. Fortunately nobody started a forest fire!
