Coming Get-Togethers of the Swiss Believers

We will be celebrating the Swiss National Day at Cane Creek Park near Waxhaw, NC on Saturday, August 5th, 2017.

The Day-use entrance is at 5213 Harkey Rd. Waxhaw, NC 28173.  There is a $4 entrance fee per car. We will meet at Canopy A near parking lot Two which has been reserved for the day. We must leave the park before gates close at 7:00, so let's meet about 2:00 for fellowship and food.

We suggest that each family bring their own dishes, cutlery and what you would like to grill. Also bring salads, sides or desserts to share. We will also need drinks and ice.

For those who are able, the park offers hiking paths. And for a fee, one can rent boats or go swimming. There is a web page with a map and available activities.  http://www.co.union.nc.us/departments/parks-and-recreation/cane-creek-park
